To make steady progress, students need an instrument at home to practice on. Either an acoustic piano or a quality keyboard is acceptable. Ask an instructor at NEPS if you have any questions about purchasing or upgrading your instrument.

No. Lessons take place at our school, which is equipped with a professional Kawai upright piano and up-to-date teaching technology. The studio also runs at full capacity, so scheduling does not allow for traveling.
Yes. NEPS holds two formal recitals each year during the holiday and spring seasons. For youth students, Halloween and St. Patrick's Day recitals are also available. Recitals are optional but strongly encouraged. Additional opportunities exist through our affiliation with the New Hampshire Music Teachers Association, and advancing students may be invited to perform in the Honors Recital, Fall Festival, Evaluations, and competitions.
New England Piano School first opened in Canton, Connecticut in 2007. The school relocated in 2012 to Exeter, New Hampshire, where Erica became a locally recognized teacher to over 70 students, and is now located in Epping, New Hampshire, still running at full capacity. Erica holds a combined degree in Piano Pedagogy and English from Plymouth State University, is a nationally certified teacher of music through the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), and serves as President of New Hampshire's branch (NHMTA). She has taught students from coast to coast.
The studio welcomes students from approximately age six through eighteen, from complete beginners to advanced pianists preparing serious repertoire.
